Wes is the founding President and CEO of the Bank, formed in 2006. He has over 40 years of banking experience in the Charlotte market. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Conference of State Bank Supervisors and the ABA America’s Community Bank Council. He formerly served as Chairman of the NC Bankers’ Association, State Representative of the ABA Government Affairs Committee and Chapter Chairman of the American Institute of Bankers.

Wes has served in a variety of civic leadership roles in the community, including Chairman of the Mecklenburg County United Way Campaign and board member of Myers Park Country Club. He is married with two grown children and three grandchildren.

Wes earned a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and served in the U.S. Army.

Dave is responsible for all finance functions including financial reporting, human resources, investments, information technology and deposit operations. He was involved in the formation of the Bank and has over 25 years of finance experience. Dave is a Certified Public Accountant and also has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College. In addition, he is a Certified Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Professional.

Tripp is responsible for all credit functions including loan approval, risk management and administration. He joined the Bank in 2012 and has more than 20 years of credit experience. Tripp currently serves as a Boy Scout Leader, Deacon, Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee at Christ Covenant Church, Treasurer of The Central Carolina Presbytery, and is a member of Charlotte South Rotary and the College of Arts and Sciences advancement Council at Appalachian State University.

He has served on the boards of Covenant Day School, Mecklenburg Chapter of Risk Management Association and Community Investment Corporation of the Carolinas.

Tripp earned a Bachelors of Science from Appalachian State University and graduated from the North Carolina School of Banking.

Fran manages the Commercial Banking team which provides lending and deposit services. She joined the Bank in 2013, bringing with her over 14 years of banking experience. Fran earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and Administration from Barry University, and an Undergraduate Degree from the University of South Florida.

She is also involved in a number of civic organizations, including the United Way, American Cancer Society, Little Smiles of NC and Christian Women’s Group. Fran enjoys working with the Elementary School Ministry at her church, organizing community events, coaching competitive cheerleading teams and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
 

Tom manages commercial banking relationships as a lender and business development officer. He specializes in working with small to mid-sized operating companies. He joined the Bank in 2013, bringing with him eight years of banking experience. Prior to commencing his career in banking, Tom served three years in the US Army. Tom is a graduate of Clemson University and the North Carolina School of Banking.

Tom has been involved in many civic organizations, including Shelby Rotary Club and the United Way. He is currently serving on the finance committee of Shelby Presbyterian Church. Formerly, Tom served as Treasurer of the Cleveland County Arts Council and the Broad River Greenway. Tom has two young children and enjoys spending time outdoors.
 

Pam provides support to the Commercial Lending team. She is dedicated to assisting with loan processing and works to ensure excellence in customer service. She joined the Bank in 2013 and has over 20 year of experience.

Genise manages all functions of the branch including customer service, account opening and maintenance and supervision of branch personnel. She joined the Bank in 2007 and has over 25 years of banking experience.

Ginny provides customer service to our deposit customers including account opening, account maintenance, check ordering, wire transfers and answering customer inquiries. She also serves as a teller. Ginny joined the Bank in 2007 and has over 30 years of banking experience.

She earned a Bachelors of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ginny serves as a volunteer for Make-A-Wish Foundation and Equine Rescue. She enjoys horseback riding and traveling.

Lindsay assists teller functions including processing deposits, cashing checks, issuing official checks, and assisting customers with cash management and customer service inquiries. She joined the Bank in 2012.

Sandi manages the loan operations department which is responsible for the processing and servicing of the Bank’s loan portfolio. This also includes ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations. She joined the Bank in 2013, bringing with her over 12 years of banking experience. Sandi has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Alabama. She enjoys volunteer work and outdoor activities.

Carolyn supports loan operations functions to ensure loan portfolios are being managed according to policy.  She also provides administrative support to the Chief Credit Officer. Carolyn joined the Bank in February 2013 and has over 40 years of banking experience.

Sophy assists loan operations functions including maintaining loan documentation and processing loan payments. She joined the Bank in 2007 and has over 7 years of banking experience. Sophy is a Certified Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Professional.

Jennifer manages the department responsible for deposit operations and compliance. She also supports both our Branch and Commerce Banker On-Call program. She was involved in the formation of the Bank and has over 20 years deposit related experience. Jennifer is a Certified Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Professional.

Charla performs a variety of functions in the finance area of the Bank including financial statement preparation and reporting, coordination of audits and examinations, and general daily accounting tasks. She joined the Bank in 2013, bringing with her over 29 years of experience. Charla has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Bowling Green State University.

Sharon assists the Bank President and the CFO with daily administrative tasks. In addition, she handles all human resources functions, investor relations, Board communication, and coordination of the annual shareholder’s meeting and proxy material. Sharon was involved in the formation of the Bank and has over 30 years of executive assistant experience.
